About The Chamber


I am an Independent Agent and Special Projects Coordinator at Aflac. Aflac is the leading provider in Voluntary Benefits, offering affordable solutions to businesses to help protect employee’s family and lifestyle.

What I enjoy the most about the Waterford Chamber is the people. I have built many relationships both professionally and personally. Involvement in the chamber also means involvement in the community.

I am originally from California but have lived here for over 25 years and consider myself a Michigander. I am married to my husband Greg. We have two boys both who graduated from Waterford Mott, one is a graduate of EMU and the other is a graduate of U of M. We also have a Welsh Terrier named Becker. In my free time I like working out and walking in my neighborhood. I enjoy going to concerts, especially in the summer.


Barb Magjar

I am the V.P. of Business & Personnel Development at Birmingham Bloomfield Credit Union. My primary role is to manage our Waterford branch and to promote BBCU in the Waterford and surrounding communities through business development activities.  Based on my experience in the banking field, I work with our frontline staff to development sales and service skills to create a memorable service experience for our members.

The Waterford Chamber offers an avenue to meet wonderful people, grow your business and invest in our local community.  Marie and her team welcomed BBCU to the community 5 years ago and have been instrumental in helping us become a recognized name in Waterford. In my free time, I enjoy going to concerts.  I love various styles of music and I play the Tenor Saxophone and Flute in my church band.  I love spending time up north Michigan on the lake and vacationing in Arizona with my family.



 I am a Treasury Management Specialist at Clarkston State Bank. Clarkston State Bank is a community financial institution that operates out of Waterford and Clarkston.  My goal is to make our customers' banking lives easier through the support and sales of our online/mobile banking, remote depositing, merchant services, and cash management solutions, as well as new product development.

My favorite part of the Waterford Chamber is the Young Professionals Network!  It is a great group of people who genuinely support each other and the Waterford community. I grew up in Waterford and currently reside in Clarkston with my husband, two children, and Yorkshire Terrier. I enjoy movies, books, and activities with my family.



I am the Assistant Vice President and Banking Center Manager at Comerica Bank. I provide customers with a personalized banking experience. I lead my team to be successful in finding the best solutions for our customers. We have an experienced team from business lending to a new student checking.

I thing I enjoy most about the Chamber are meeting new business owners in the area and staying in touch with all of the fun activities that are planned by the Chamber. In my free time, I enjoy spending time outdoors with my husband and two kids. We like to hike and spend a lot of time at youth sports!

I am a financial advisor with Edward Jones, a financial services firm dedicated to serving the investment needs of individuals and business owners. I believe the only way to do business is on a one-on-one basis. I do that by getting to know you, understanding your goals, and developing individualized strategies to help you reach them.

I have been a member of the Waterford Area Chamber of Commerce for eight years and proudly volunteer to fill two roles. As vice president on the board of directors, as well as an ambassador, I have the pleasure of working with other business owners to strengthen the business community in the Waterford area. I am grateful to take part in the Waterford Area Chamber of Commerce, it has a welcoming sense of community, where I have developed great relationships both personally and professionally.

My husband, Jeff, and I have been married for nine years; we live in White Lake and enjoy traveling together. I enjoy being active by playing soccer in three different leagues and attending boot camp workouts regularly at a local gym.

I am the Marketing Director at Hallmann Advisors, CPA’s, P.C. My husband Bill and I own Hallmann Advisors, CPA 's & Financial Services which has been in business for 25 yrs. We do Accounting/Book keeping, Business/Corporate/Personal Tax Returns, Financial Planning, Tax Resolution & much more. Integrity, Dedication & Trust are so important on a personal and business level to me.

Being a Board Member and Ambassador, I love the camaraderie between the Chamber & its members as well as the great friendships and memories I have made with fellow members. In our free time, we are on the water a great deal; boating, paddle boarding, kayaks, fishing, wake boarding with friends and family. We love to entertain for our family and friends. In addition we are avid travel lovers.


I am the Executive Director of the McLaren Oakland Foundation. The McLaren Oakland Foundation is the fundraising and community outreach arm of McLaren Oakland. It was established in 2004 to ensure that everyone, regardless of age, race and financial status has access to state-of-the-art health care services. The McLaren Oakland Foundation also supports community outreach initiatives; and has provided over 4,000 free mammogram screenings to medically underserved women; breast cancer awareness and education throughout Oakland County; support to the McLaren Oakland Children's Clinic and free bicycle helmets and safety education to local school children.

I enjoy the opportunities the Chamber provides to network and meet people in and outside of my industry. My husband Guy and I have been married and been Waterford residents for over 22 years.  We have two sons, Dalton and Jake.  As a family we enjoy skiing, golfing, camping and movie nights!


Tony Hueter

 I am an Account Executive at Michigan Community Insurance Agency. We offer personal and commercial property and casualty insurance of all kinds.  We also have a full benefits division for life insurance, health insurance, and employee benefits. As a part of the Chamber, I enjoy meeting new people and making new friends; building new relationships both personally and professionally. I also enjoy giving some of my time back to the community to help in whatever ways that I can.

Outside of the Chamber, I am a father of 2 wonderful children, Rebecca age 20 and Ryan age 19. I enjoy sports of all kinds and I participate regularly in golf, bowling, kayaking, and biking. I enjoy being outdoors and I love to travel. I love music of all kinds and I have been a singer in a live cover band for 20+ years. I have lived in the Waterford Area for most of my life.  I grew up here and I graduated from Waterford Mott High School.  I love living in Michigan and in particular in the Waterford area.  I have 2 life motto's that I try very hard to live by... Don't sweat the small stuff... and everything in moderation!



I am the Director of: Summer Camps, Marketing, Volleyball, Kickball at Oakland Yard Athletics. I wear a lot of hats of Oakland Yard, what I do is try to get OYA out into the community so that people know we are here and how much we have to offer.  Summer Camp is a beast unto itself.  My main role as director is to make the programs awesome by hiring the best staff I can find.  We want parents to be comfortable and kids to want to come back as often as possible!

What I love about being apart of the Waterford Chamber of Commerce is all the connections you make with other members. Outside of Oakland Yard, I run two other businesses and have 4 kids, 4 chickens, 2 ducks, 2 hamsters, a dog and a cat to keep me busy!  When we can sneak away for a weekend, our cabin is my happy place!


 I am a Regional Manager for Primerica Financial Services. We help people make money and save money by following Primerica Financial Services Mission: help people earn more income, become debt free, properly protected, and financially independent!

My favorite part of the Chamber is the relationship building through networking and all the events put on by the Chamber staff. Business is about relationships and the Chamber helps to foster those relationships.When I am not working, I like to work with non-profit organizations, workout, garden, hike, camp, and enjoy craft beer. I am the eldest of 3 siblings, and my whole family still lives in the Southwest suburbs of Chicago where I'm originally from.

 I am a Financial Professional at RAM Insurance & Financial Services. I am a women-owned business that provide risk management and financial services to families and businesses in the community. Our agency offers a one-stop solutions to improving your finances.

I enjoy being apart of the Chamber of Commerce because of the many wonderful people that make a difference in improving the community as well as the economy. In my spare time I like sewing and roller skating with my grandchildren.  I also enjoy hiking and traveling with my husband. Additionally, I volunteer my time to help others learn about the bible.

I am an Associate Broker at Real Estate One. I've been listing and selling homes in the lakes area since 2002.  I love meeting new people and helping them through the process of home buying/selling.

This chamber is a wonderful group of area business people.  I've had great business experiences and have made new friends. In my free time I love to cook and entertain.  I love having my kitchen filled with family and friends and conversation and laughter.


Alison Swanson

I am the Recreation Superintendent for Waterford Township Parks and Recreation. The Waterford Parks and Recreation Department promotes health and wellness for all ages. With 17 parks and facilities spanning over 850 acres we protect and preserve green space and host a variety of events that bring our residents together strengthening community image and sense of place.

The Waterford Area Chamber of Commerce is a great way to connect with business owners who are passionate about getting involved and giving back to the community. Networking events foster lasting business and professional relationships and are great opportunities for growth both personally and professionally.

My husband and I both grew up in Waterford, we have two children and two dogs. In our free time, we enjoy spending family time outdoors, at the lake, and at our daughter's soccer and softball games.
