About The Chamber
I am an Independent Agent and Special Projects Coordinator at Aflac. Aflac is the leading provider in Voluntary Benefits, offering affordable solutions to businesses to help protect employee's family and lifestyle.
What I enjoy the most about the Waterford Chamber is the people. I have built many relationships both professionally and personally. Involvement in the chamber also means involvement in the community.
I am originally from California but have lived here for over 25 years and consider myself a Michigander. I am married to my husband Greg. We have two boys both who graduated from Waterford Mott, one is a graduate of EMU and the other is a graduate of U of M. We also have a Welsh Terrier named Becker. In my free time I like working out and walking in my neighborhood. I enjoy going to concerts, especially in the summer.
As a Team Lead with Beyond Payment Systems, I help businesses to better understand how to accept payments from their customers through credit cards in their location, through e-commerce solutions from a website or mobile portal. We also provide payroll services point-of-sale systems, business lending programs, and gift and reward programs with customer analytics.
I have been a member of the Waterford Chamber since 2016 and have lived in Waterford for the last 20 years. I really enjoy the networking events and meeting local businesses. One of the reasons I am an ambassador is to help connect businesses to each other.
My wife, Karen, and I have two children, JT and Ally, who both graduated from Waterford Kettering. Both of them play college sports, so most of our spring is spent traveling to as many of their games as possible, and in the summer we enjoy relaxing on Maceday Lake.
My 18+ years in the financial industry has allowed me to promote business development and work with youth and schools teaching financial literacy. I am available to do seminars at the schools and in the community along with being hands on at many featured events. Branch support and working with community resulting in positive members service is what I strive to achieve. I want your visit to be pleasant and memorable.
The Waterford Chamber offers an avenue to meet wonderful people, to grow your business and invest in your community. Marie and her team have welcomed BBCU December of 2011 and been instrumental in helping us become a recognized name in the community. In my free time, I enjoy boating, fishing, hockey, and traveling with my husband and 3 boys.
I am the Assistant Vice President and Banking Center Manager at Comerica Bank. I provide customers with a personalized banking experience. I lead my team to be successful in finding the best solutions for our customers. We have an experienced team from business lending to a new student checking.
I thing I enjoy most about the Chamber are meeting new business owners in the area and staying in touch with all of the fun activities that are planned by the Chamber. In my free time, I enjoy spending time outdoors with my husband and two kids. We like to hike and spend a lot of time at youth sports!
I am a Marketing Instigator for Connections Business Services. Connections Business Services helps small businesses and organizations create a marketing plan, prioritize projects, create social media strategy and either teach or create content and posts. We work with the businesses to create marketing that happen on a consistent basis.
What I enjoy most about the chamber is all of the connections and friends I have developed. My free time is spent with husband Mark and daughter Rachel, traveling, boating and enjoying the outdoors.
I have worked for 12 years at Costco Wholesale in Auburn Hills as a membership and marketing representative.
I love being an ambassador for the Waterford Chamber. Attending the events, ribbon cuttings, new member orientations, perking ups, and more allow me the opportunity to continually meet new members in the area.
I am the Marketing Director at Hallmann Advisors CPAs & Financial Services. My husband Bill and I own Hallmann Advisors CPAs & Financial Services which has been in business for 25 yrs. We do Accounting/Book keeping, Business/Corporate/Personal Tax Returns, Financial Planning, Tax Resolution & much more. Integrity, Dedication & Trust are so important on a personal and business level to me.
Being a Board Member and Ambassador, I love the camaraderie between the Chamber & its members as well as the great friendships and memories I have made with fellow members. In our free time, we are on the water a great deal; boating, paddle boarding, kayaks, fishing, wake boarding with friends and family. We love to entertain for our family and friends. In addition, we are avid travel lovers.
I love being a Waterford Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassador for many reasons, but the most important is the mutual support that all the members and staff provide each other. It is a true pleasure to be able work with and help the businesses who provide great products and services to the community. Some of the most excitement comes when there is a ribbon cutting, it marks a new beginning for both the business and the community and is truly the lifeblood of our viability that strengthens us. We are a very active chamber and it is rewarding to network with and learn more about the many different businesses and more importantly, learning more about the owners and staff that also support the community in so many positive ways.
I am a graduate of Waterford Twp. High School and have always been encouraged by the entrepreneurial spirit in this community. I look forward to what the future brings and welcome it with open arms.
I am an Associate Broker at KW/Domain. I've been listing and selling homes in the lakes area since 2002. I love meeting new people and helping them through the process of home buying/selling.
This chamber is a wonderful group of area business people. I've had great business experiences and have made new friends. In my free time I love to cook and entertain. I love having my kitchen filled with family and friends and conversation and laughter.
As a sales representative with Liberty Mutual Insurance, I love the opportunity to save people money, but it means even more to me to make sure that people are properly protected. So many people don’t realize how under-insured they are.
I have been a member of the Chamber since 2010, and thoroughly enjoy attending as many events as possible. It was an honor to become an ambassador and help represent the Chamber with its members.
I have lived in Waterford since I was five years old, and created the Facebook group, Waterford: Then and Now, which is a before and after pictorial history of the township. I have two daughter, Rachel and Lydia, who are very involved in athletics, and I enjoy coaching my youngest daughter’s fast-pitch softball team.
I am a Mortgage Loan Officer with Michigan First Mortgage a division of Michigan First Credit Union for the last 5 years. I have a realtor and title insurance background also. Mortgages are unique like people, and I currently help with the purchase or refinance of homes, investment properties, or second homes in the State of Michigan from $40,000 to $2,000,000.
As an Ambassador with the chamber and active supporter of the YPN I try to attend most of the Perking Ups and Ribbon Cuttings. I find the After Hours Networking Events very beneficial in really having a chance to get to know my fellow chamber members.
I have lived in Waterford for the last 40+ years along with my husband Scott. Both of us are Waterford graduates. We not only both grew up on Lake Oakland, but we currently reside there. I love lake living and love being able to access 59, 75, Woodward, and Telegraph and getting anywhere quickly. You will find us with our golden doodle, Dudley, on the boat first thing in the morning on most Saturdays and Sundays in the summer.
I am the Director of Summer Camps, Marketing, Volleyball, and Kickball at Oakland Yard Athletics. I wear a lot of hats of Oakland Yard, what I do is try to get OYA out into the community so that people know we are here and how much we have to offer. Summer Camp is a beast unto itself. My main role as director is to make the programs awesome by hiring the best staff I can find. We want parents to be comfortable and kids to want to come back as often as possible!
What I love about being a part of the Waterford Chamber of Commerce is all the connections you make with other members. Outside of Oakland Yard, I run two other businesses and have 4 kids, 4 chickens, 2 ducks, 2 hamsters, a dog and a cat to keep me busy! When we can sneak away for a weekend, our cabin is my happy place!
As a realtor with RE/MAX Eclipse, the only nationally recognized real estate branch in Waterford, I get to follow my passion for helping people chase their dreams of home ownership which is evident in my involvement in the community, continuing education, and dedication to giving back. I pride myself on being communicative and available to make the process of buying or selling a home easy and fun.
In addition to serving as an ambassador for the Chamber, I am a RE/MAX ambassador for the Children’s Miracle Network. I donate on behalf of my clients with each closing, and it is great knowing the donations stay in the community.
I grew up in Redford Township and moved to Waterford in 1979 where I raised my two daughters, Kari and Amy, who both graduated from Waterford Mott. My husband and I currently reside in White Lake and enjoy traveling, entertaining, hanging out in their Ft. Lauderdale condo, and spending time with their five grandchildren.
My husband, Bill, and I own Select Auto Care located at Scott Lake Road and Dixie Highway. I encouraged my husband to take an early retirement from Ford Motor Company to pursue his dream of owning an auto repair shop, and in July 2017 we purchased Select Auto Care. We specialize in repairs and maintenance of most makes/models of cars and trucks.
We joined the Chamber almost immediately after purchasing the shop. I have been overwhelmed with the welcoming atmosphere within the Chamber and have enjoyed the friendships developed and the business connections made. I really enjoy being a part of the Ambassadors and a member of the BUILD 1 group, and my husband and I always have fun at the many events the Chamber hosts.
I grew up through elementary and middle school in Lake Orion, but my family then moved out of state. In the later 1980’s I returned to southeastern Michigan, where I met Bill, married and had two children. We are currently empty-nesters now as both children are out of college and in their own careers.
