There are several hidden gems in Waterford Township. Visitors and residents can spend quality time at our quaint Waterford Historical Village, Oakland County Farmer's MarketHess-Hathaway Park, the Drayton Plains Nature Center recently constructed Riverwalk Project and several other park facilities. Community events are hosted throughout the year at these unique locations including Concerts in the Park, Moviepalooza, Christmas in October, Log Cabin Days, Harvest Happenings, Oakland Uncorked and more.

 

Theater has always been popular in Waterford. History shows many places were used throughout the years. The stage of the CAI, the barn at Keatington (now Canterbury Village), Crary Middle School, Waterford Mott, the old Eagle Theater in downtown Pontiac, the Plaza Hotel in Pontiac, Central United Method Church and the Masonic Temple in Pontiac. Today you can enjoy performances or get involved with one of our many local community theaters.

The Oakland County International Airport is the new headquarters for the Annual Air Show. Visit Oakland County's first Green Terminal while your there too!
