The Business Recognition Breakfast is hosted by Waterford Township and the Waterford Area Chamber of Commerce. Two specific areas of recognition are highlighted for our businesses: milestones in business and buildings that have been renovated to a degree that positively impacts the beauty of our corridors.
In addition, a business and individual (chamber members only) are recognized for specific characteristics that contribute to our community (See criteria below). Businesses are honored at this event and receive a plaque of recognition. Stakeholders, leaders and businesses join together in honor of these accomplishments.

Business of the Year Award
Awarded to a chamber member business/organization
Criteria: Contributes to the well-being and development of the Waterford business community, supports projects and initiatives which further the community as a whole.
Business Person of the Year Award
Awarded to an individual whose business or organization is a chamber member
Criteria: Contributes their time and expertise to promote and support both the business and community philosophy of the greater Waterford area, with an emphasis on making Waterford a better place to live, work and play.
