The Lakeland Players Theatre presents The Laramie Project. The Laramie Project is the story of Matthew Shepard who was a young gay man, beaten to death in Laramie, WY in 1998. This piece is a complication of interviews taken in the 12 months after the tragedy by a theater group from NY.

Enjoy a strolling dinner highlighting market farmers and local chefs to celebrate the bounty of the fall harvest. The event will also feature fine wine, craft beer, signature cocktails and gourmet coffee from local producers. Cooking demonstrations will be held throughout the evening with music provided by the Scott Gwinnell Jazz Band. The event is hosted by the Oakland County Farmers Market, Oakland County Parks, edibleWOW and Taste the Local Difference with a portion of the proceeds benefiting Clarkston SCAMP.
We’ll start with an overview of Excel, and go over how to enter and edit data in cells,
formatting cells, and basic formulas such as addition and subtraction. Basic computer
knowledge and familiarity with Microsoft Word and/or other Microsoft Office application(s) are prerequisites for this class. Event is full.
