The Waterford Area Chamber of Commerce will be hosting the ninth annual “Oakland Uncorked” in partnership with the Oakland County Farmers Market and Clarkston SCAMP on Friday, August 26 from 7-10 p.m. The ambiance of the farmers market has made this a truly unique experience for attendees as it has become a very popular destination event.
In tradition, this event features food and desserts from some of Oakland County’s finest restaurants and a wonderful variety of wines that tempt the palate. There will also be some local breweries joining the festivities with craft beers. The theme is intended to embrace and celebrate the “Farmers Market Experience” by utilizing the market vendor tables paired with elegant creative seating areas and old fashion midway style lighting.
We understand the impact that COVID-19 has had on our local restaurants, and the effects it continues to have on staffing and operations, but if you are able, we would love to have you join us as one of our premier restaurants!
Our attendance is limited to no more than 350 patrons, 20-25 restaurants, and volunteers. Oakland Uncorked is marketed by the Chamber of Commerce and Oakland County Parks and Recreation. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Clarkston SCAMP, a five-week summer day program developed and designed for children and young adults with special needs covering a wide variety of both emotional and physical diagnoses.
We are seeking elegant and unique tastings at your discretion. We ask our restaurants to have enough tastings, of your choice, for our patrons. The food must be brought prepared and ready to serve. Restaurants must meet all applicable state and county permits required to participate. Hand washing stations are on the premises. Electricity is not available. We will provide plates, napkins and silverware.
This is a wonderful opportunity for us to feature your restaurant and gain exposure county-wide. Your restaurant will be featured in all of the marketing materials distributed through the chamber, as well as the county. The chamber has a strong local influence and the county has a very large regional audience making them a great promotional partner! Your restaurant logo and link will appear on the event landing page, social media marketing, event flyers, posters, press releases and other forms of media.

▪ Please plan on preparing food for approximately 350 people from 7 – 10 p.m.
▪ Food selections will be considered in the order they are received; in the
event of duplicate items we may ask for an alternate option. Please notify us no
later than Friday, July 15, 2022.
